About Us

In 2009 the Towns Villains Roller Derby kicked off in Townsville, Far North Queensland. Since being established, the Villains have competed in countless games and tournaments all over Australia and have come to be one of the best known teams in North Qld.

TVRD has several core values and one that we hold in high regard is diversity. We believe that anyone - young and old, of any gender - can give skating a go and stress the importance of creating a safe space for all skaters and would be skaters and their families.

We have mixed teams, juniors and seniors. Aged from 6 upwards.

We believe that everyone deserves to have a great time on their wheels, and have developed a range of sessions so that everyone can share in their love for skating. No skating experience is necessary to start. 

Training is up to twice a week.
